Confidentiality and Safeguarding

Our sessions are confidential to you the client and to me the counsellor.

In exceptional circumstances, where in my professional opinion you may be either 

a) a risk to yourself

b) a risk to others

I reserve the right to break your confidentiality by seeking help outside of the counselling relationship.

In these circumstances I will always endeavour to seek to get your agreement to this.

The NCPS code of ethics requires that I have regular supervision. My supervision is confidential and your personal details are never disclosed to the supervisor.
